Welcome Frida to CCPAL Rescue. Frida is a 12- to 16-month-old Shepherd/Terrier. She is potty trained, good in a car, decent on a leash and nice in her crate. She lives in foster care with an older lady and she is respectful about jumping on her. She is an energetic girl that can also be calm as well. Her best home would be with an active family that would like a companion to go on outdoor adventures. She is not reactive on leash and good with dogs her size. She has been around cats and smaller dogs and when they run she wants to chase. Her best home would be with a playful dog her size or as an only dog. A fenced yard would be nice as she could get some of her exercise exploring the back yard. She is trained well in her kennel and hasn’t been destructive in the foster’s yard. She is lower shed and would be fine with children 8 or older. She is healthy, spayed, heartworm negative and ready for her forever home. She can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states

More about this rescue
C.C.P.A.L. seeks to reduce the enormous problem of pet overpopulation in Bandera County We promote low-cost spay/neuter programs; advise on basic health care & proper shelter for pets & offer excellent dog obedience classes several times each year. Since 2002, CCPAL has rescued nearly 5,000 animals. We are in constant need of foster homes for these pets until we find them homes. Our pets are in kennels on an acreage in Texas. We can use a transporter to get them outside of Texas if we find a great home.
