My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Weylon is a lover. He loves to cuddle and is the bed bed partner! His personality is labby..Weylon and Reba lives.on the streets in Jellico for 3 yrs making.it.on their own (how we don't know). They were evidently picked up and when their time was up, we took them. They adore each other..Weylon is esp.attached to Reba. They crate together and eat together. We would really.like for them to stay together since they have been thru thick and then together. Weylon is fully vetted. Contact us by lifelongbuddies01@gmail.com.or.message us on facebook.

Their adoption process

1.

Interview

We want to talk to make sure the pet is a good match! We discuss vetting, fees, talk about energy and temperament. <24 hr return on calls

2.

Submit Application

We have an application and contract which gathers necessary information. We stand behind our pets for their lives.

3.

Meet the Pet

Meeting is the most important! It allows you a chance to see if he/she is a good fit for your lifestyle. We address basic training tips

4.

Home Check

Home Visits allow us to help the pet make the adjustment and settle in. It helps w/ other pets and also training.

Additional adoption info

We realize that adding an new family member is an adjustment for all involved. The pet will go through stages of adjustment. We make suggestions to help w/ this and we are always available for training/suggestions throughout the pets life. We'd rather know and help address any issues before a pet is surrendered back. We do always take them back (and want to be called) if it comes to this as a last resort

More about this rescue

We are a new start up rescue based out of the Maryville TN/Blount county area. We focus on Mutts since this is the greatest need. We do get pure breds from time to time. We are part of the no-kill movement and believe strongly in the 11 point equation of No-Kill to help a community save vs euthanize it's pets. We have seen and experienced personally how important training and awareness is for a successful long term relationship. All of our dogs/cats are spay/neutered, heartworm checked (dogs) and on preventative and tested for fiv/felv (cats). They are tx for fleas and tics, have completed their shots, dewormed and microchipped. We are looking for homes that see a pet as a family member. We want homes that are willing to invest time and energy with a wiliness to learn and grow in relationship with that pet.
