My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ms. Sunny a.k.a. sunshine! She is an adorable six month old pup that originally came from the Yakima animal shelter. She had been part of a hoarding situation with her siblings and parent. She is learning the ropes of life and how to be a confident dog. She is often scared of new people or new places, but we are working diligently to get her more socialized and used to going in public. She loves her little six-year-old boy and bonds very quickly to her human mom. She becomes a social butterfly that just wants to play play play and get into mischief given the chance. She is learning potty training in her new foster home and beginning the basics on training.

To help her adjust she is crated when strangers and new kids come into the home and slowly left out once she knows everyone is ok. The more consistent someone is with giving her a safe space the more she will acclimate.

She is smart and will blossom with a dedicated individual or family. She is good with other dogs - cats are scary to her and she will bark as if they’re going to harm her when she sees one. She is a goofy puppy that loves to be held when she knows you and bonds fiercely to her people. She could make a good emotional support dog if someone invested in training her for social settings. She is not a dog new kids can come hug and pet - yet - but she loves to snuggle and kiss kids when she knows them!
She’s just under 20lb

Spayed microchipped and vaccinated
