BIO:
Why stop at one dog to love when you could have two beauties to fill your heart with joy? We are Aubrey and Carolina, and we dream about finding a forever home where we can be together with a family to call our own. We were rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Texas and found comfort in each other while we were there. We are two peas in a pod who play, snuggle, and even sleep on top of each other in the cutest doggie pile you will ever see! We have a balanced energy level: sometimes we can be lively and love to play with toys or chase each other around the yard (a fenced yard at our forever home would be a big bonus!), but then we calm down for a quality nap and snuggle session. We can be shy initially with new people, so our ideal humans will be patient while we come out of our shell and settle into our new lives. We think we will thrive in a quiet adult-only or older-children family composition without too much excitement and high activity. We previously lived with other dogs and were fine with them, but would also be totally content as your only two lovely ladies. We are working hard on potty training and would appreciate someone who is home more often so we can go out to do our business frequently. Our adopters will also need to sign us up for training since we are both young; we think fun classes will help us with our confidence so we can let our silly, loving personalities shine! We don't have many requests for our forever family: just someone who will love us both and give us lots of big doggie beds so we can get our snuggles on! If you have room in your home and heart for two sweet gals, please fill out an adoption application soon so we can get forever started!

If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
