My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN WAIVED IN AN ATTEMPT TO HELP OUR TABBY KITTENS AND CATS FIND THEIR FOREVER HOMES!

He's "grrreat!!!" Once he gets to know you and feels comfortable, Tony the Tiger is a friendly and affectionate young tiger man! He prefers to have a small room of his own as he sometimes gets nervous when he is getting adjusted to a larger area or space. A small and cozy setting suits Tony just fine! Tony is a bit of an oddball but we still love him! He was really outgoing as a kitten but actually became kind of skittish as an adult... usually it works the opposite! It could certainly be that the rescue environment just doesn't really agree with him. Once he builds up trust with a person, he is a very nice cat that will come to you for pets. He likes to lounge around and is very food-motivated but he would require some work and some extra dedication since he is of the sensitive type. Tony needs to go to a calm home where he can settle in and feel comfortable. It would probably be in his best interest to go to a home with another cat in it and definitely only calm dogs for this guy.
Tony can be a bit sensitive and would do the best with a person who will be patient, attentive, and calm with him so that he can settle in to his forever home with the least amount of stress. He will make a nice pet for someone who can dedicate a decent amount of time to him. Tony is great with other kittens and cats and would do best in a home with another feline companion to help him feel at home and keep him company. Tony will have been neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV/HW tested negative, and microchipped at his time of adoption! More about this rescue

We are a small, nonprofit 501c3 rescue that has the goal to home and re-home at-risk cats as well as provide TNR and Spay and Neuter Assistance to individuals who can’t afford it. We work with other animal rescue groups to prevent cruelty and neglect to animals and to assure lifetime safe and secure homes to at-risk animals, primarily cats.
