Jasper is a 5 month old puppy, so he has not been neutered yet due to his age. He is a very loving, smart, sensitive, and active boy. He loves to run, fetch, play tug, and then snuggle on your lap and give you lots of kisses. While he is a puppy and still learning, he has picked up on commands well and has gotten good at sit, wait, stay down, and jump. He is good on a leash, and even if he gets distracted, one " look at me" and "let's go" will get him back on track. Jasper is treat and affection motivated, so he responds to "good boy" just as well as a treat. He is good at going potty outside, but he is still confused about how to ask to go out.
Due to a sudden decline in my health, I can't keep up with his needs. Jasper has lots of energy and hates being in a crate for long. He gets lonely easily, so he needs an active family that can give him a lot of attention, preferably one with a yard and another dog. He's such a sweetie, and I want him to find a family that can make him happy.
