My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet, happy, fun, cuddly. A few words I'd use to describe Jack. Jack waited a long time in California being overlooked, so now he's in Portland to find his forever family.

Jack is a BIG boy around 75lbs with hops and legs for days. He loves to run and play, both with toys and other dogs. He is a high energy companion looking for an active family to adventure with. While Jack meets dogs and people well, he would love to be the king of his castle at home, or paired with another large, chill dog.
Jack is still young and, as his foster family, we're helping him learn manners like not jumping up to say hello and walking nicely on leash. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night like a pro. We estimate Jack is between 12-18 months - so much love and life ahead of him! He loves a good chew toy, but hasn't chewed anything inappropriate while in our home.
Jack spent several months with a trainer during his time in California, so he knows a lot of basic commands. Because he's so young, he'll need someone committed to continuing his training so he can be his best doggy self.
Jack is currently in a foster home in Portland, OR. He LOVES water, and loves to give big kisses to the 2 year old and 4 year old humans who help take care of him.
