We found Scarlett and her sister Hope on the side of the road, emaciated and exhausted. They came right to us and fell asleep in the car. We brought them home, fed and loved them, and their personalities started to shine through. They are sweet, loving, and really beginning to trust people. Scarlett is a snuggle bug - she loves to curl up next to you (or on you) and get some belly rubs. She is currently 26 lbs and the vet does not believe she will get much bigger. She is apx 6-8 months old and has her first round of vaccines and rabies shot. Despite her rough start, the vet is really pleased with her progress. She does well on a leash and loves walking. Although not completely potty trained, she prefers to go outside and does not have many accidents inside. She is smart and eager to please and should be easy to train. She loves to hold her own leashe shen you walk her. She is a great dog and we would love to keep her but are at capacity with 5 other pets.
