Here's what the humans have to say about me:
HUGE LOVEBUG ALERT! This happy, exuberant boy is a total snuggle bug with both people and other dogs. He strongly desires affection and loves to show it! There is no such thing as too many hugs, cuddles and scratches in George’s eyes. He is dog-friendly and would make an amazing pack mate to another dog(s) in the household.
George is crate-trained and loves to have a kong while in his crate. He likes chewing balls, soft toys and enjoys working his brain with puzzle toys. He is learning how to fetch and playfully chases after the ball. George has an earnest curiosity about everything, which makes him even more lovable. He longs for a deep, lasting companionship and loves being physically close to his family members - humans and dogs alike. He is always down to hang out on the couch and nap. You’ll almost certainly catch him snoring while doing so.
This sweet boy is very intelligent and treat-motivated, which makes him extremely trainable. He knows “sit”, “wait” and “let’s go”. He walks well on a leash with a front lead harness. He will need continued training and exposure to distractions when out and about. He can get very excited when meeting new people and can be jumpy. We recommend George goes to a home with no cats and no young children, as he can be excitable and mouthy when he plays.
George is up-to-date on all vaccinations, neutered and microchipped! He is currently in a foster home in Portland, OR.
If you are interested in meeting George please complete an adoption application and we will get back to you shortly!
