Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PAIGE- this sweet girl was rescued (literally just picked up right off the sidewalk in the projects). She was not anyones cat. PAIGE also had a foot injury that required stitches and she was all fixed up at the time of her spay surgery. She is now super happy to be warm, safe and loved. She is VERY talkative and smart. She has her own crate but often I let her out if she wants to roam around. She is OK with other cats. PAIGE likes canned cat food and meows for me to give her some in the mornings. She knows the cats in crates get canned food so she will run back to her crate and act like she is still in it- to get hers. . Where she was before- I am sure she did not have access to a steady food supply, so treating her to some canned cat food could be the way to butter this little cutie up,once adopted. She is very friendly and just a sweet girl. She needs someone to mend her heart, to give her a chance at having her own home. My feeling is she is a friendly stray and was never in a home until I saved her. She loves to be loved. My gut says this girl will, in time, become very attached to her person.
,,,,,,,A little bit about me, is my rescue is on the 2nd-3rd floors of my Pittsburgh home. Once I get the kitties fully vetted, I let them be free to play and snuggle as they please. So if you want to come and visit call, text or email. Picking a companion animal is easier in person, then it is from a photo. Plus I don"t take the best photos. I rescued and live with the cats so I am very familiar with their personalities. Vetting fees have also gone up a lot, just like everything else. The little bit of money we make off of adoptions goes right back into the mix to help the next stray in need. I do not get the funding like the big non profits so adopting from me supports what I do.....I pull theses helpless animals from the streets of Pittsburgh. The other big names take cats from inside of homes, I give the other ones a chance.
I have great reviews on Google, people seem to like my set up and how I do things so If you are looking to adopt, give a small rescue with about 25 cats to choose from a chance.

PAIGE is fully vetted. That means she needs nothing- spayed, dewormed, -2 vaccines for FVRCP, microchipped and tested for FeLV & FIV ( negative). The combo test alone at a private vet will cost $120 but we already got her completely fixed up for ya. All this lil queen needs is your love and care.

Save Our Strays uses some of our profits and donations to get surgeries done for cats that have no one to pay to get them spayed/neutered (TNR). Our first two years we sterilized over 100 community cats, preventing 1000s of them from being born outside.
If you are interested in any of the cats, please call & leave a voicemail or send a text .412 863 0064. I do not have a long application process, just call and talk to me to set up an appointment to meet n greet the kitties. I am always available via phone with any questions you might have, even down the road.
