Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Gigi!
I am a mellow 4 year old tabby girl, who learned on the street to be extra cautious. This requires me to find a pet family with a gentle touch and patience for me to come out of my shell, because at first, I will be very nervous. Leslie of Here Kitty Kitty said that I am the least destructive cat she has ever had.
I do not go on top of tables or get into your cereal boxes or other typical cat shenanigans. I mostly like to sleep, eat, or play with my people.
According to Leslie of Here Kitty Kitty, "When we brought a stray in she became its momma even though she was still very shy around us, and she would bathe and care for the kitten. As she gets more confident she will plop on a sunny spot, on the edge of the bed and likes to listen to jazz. We recommend a quiet home, she doesn’t like frenetic energy or sudden and loud sounds. She likes to be petted, but her tolerance is short at first as she can get overstimulated. Once she feels safe her nervous system slows down and she opens up her steady nature and allows deep cuddles. Even at her most frightened she never extends her claws, scratches, or bites (she got stuck in the hvac vent once and was such a sweet angel through it all). When you first get her keep her in one room, she likes to hide and will find places you didn’t know existed in your home if she doesn’t acclimate to you first. But once you do earn her trust she is the sweetest and gentlest little chonk you’ll ever meet."
