Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hunter is a 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix. We rehomed him as a six month old puppy and believe he was abused by his former owner. We have patiently tried to work with Hunter on his behavioral issues and have seen improvement but are running out of time with a new baby on the way. He is a highly intelligent dog with many redeeming qualities. He is loyal and affectionate with his family members and very protective of them. Fully house-trained. Very high energy and requires more exercise than we are able to provide. He is very wary of strangers and exhibits herding nipping behavior toward children. He has some barking issues that seemed to be caused by attention seeking and anxiety. Hunter is crate trained but will do better with minimal crating. He has not been around many dogs but has been OK with them. He chases our cats but does not attack them and appears to want to play with them. Hunter needs an experienced, patient, loving home without young children.
