 Meet Oakley! The happiest dog ♥ï¸ 

 Oakley is sweet and loves everyone she meets. She never has a bad day and is always smiling.
  
She was surrendered to a shelter when her human family was faced with some challenging medical issues that needed their time and attention.

Basics: Female, a year old, about 45 lbs, spayed, fully vaccinated, micro chipped. As many Doodles do, she sheds!
 
She loves toys of all kinds and will entertain herself with them.

Home recommendation: Oakley would love an active home. One where she gets daily walks and maybe even some weekend hikes.
  
If you’re looking for a couch potato, she’s not the dog for you.

Dogs: Oakley does well with other dogs close in size and does well with them indoors, but tends to be quite exuberant when she’s outside and tends to circle and sometimes body slam them, so close supervision is required.

Crate: Oakley is crate trained and settles well in her crate.

House training: Oakley is fully house trained and has had no accidents inside since being in a foster.

Cats: She is good with dog savvy cats. She tries to get them to play when she’s bored so may overwhelm a cat who is shy or is reluctant to stand up to a dog. She’s not in any way aggressive towards them.

Kids: Oakley has lived with children but isn’t recommended for a home with young children due to her exuberant play style. She can also be a little mouthy when excited.

Adoption Fee: $300.00 (plus tax for KY residents)

Adoption Process:

Step 1:
Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under Adopt. Adopters must live within 100 miles of Florence, KY.

Step 2:
PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable)

Step 3:
IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet.

Step 4:
If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit.
