My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Name: Bella

*Age: 2.5 years old

*Current Weight: 65 lbs

*Rescued from: Louisiana, fostered in NY

*Adoption fee: $475

*Health: Up to date on vaccines, spayed, & microchipped

*Adoption requirements: Adopter must be 25 or older

Meet Bella, a young and vibrant soul, who's full of energy and enthusiasm. She is as friendly as they come and is always eager to make new friends. Bella is loyal to a fault, with a social and outgoing personality that lights up any room.

Bella is incredibly friendly and adores children, making her the perfect family pet. She's also dog-friendly, so if you have other canine companions, Bella will fit right in. However, she's not the biggest fan of cats.

Bella is house and crate trained, making her a perfect fit for any home. Bella's zest for life is contagious and she's ready to be a faithful companion, bringing joy and laughter to her forever family.

She loves long walks and playing with toys. She's always up for a good run, so if you're looking for a fitness companion, she's your girl. She would love a home with a fenced in yard that she run in play in.  With Bella, every day is an adventure filled with fun and laughter.

Adopt Bella and bring home not just a pet, but a loyal friend, a bundle of joy, and an endless source of positive energy.

FAQs -- PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE EMAILING

All adoption fees are non-refundable

Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing:

LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppy's/dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dog's exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dog's medical records.

SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. **

MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors.

APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means we did NOT receive your application.

More about this rescue

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
