My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chance is the sweetest of boys! He can be a bit submissive and apparently had never been inside a house before but has been adjusting and loves being around people. He is good with most dogs, does best with nonaggressive calm dogs and with cats too. Because of his size we do not recommend a home with children but he is equally great with men and women. Chance was found wandering the neighborhood of our rescue and no owner was ever located. He does require fencing that cannot be dug under or if no fence, always on a leash outside. He wants to be with his people and is therefore not a great candidate for a livestock guardian dog.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to rescue senior pets and livestock that have been abandoned or become homeless and to care for and house these animals for the rest of their lives through foster families and adoptions. We also help senior humans take care of their pets so the pets can stay in their home and we help pets whose owners have passed away.
