Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ibis came to us after a college student impulse bought him quite young. Luckily we got him soon after that and he has been raised in a loving foster home ever since. This means he has been socialized and hand tamed! He is the sweetest little hamster and will give you lots of laughs. Ibis is a huge fan of his food and gobbles it up as soon as you put it down for him. He is completely unbothered by being pet, especially while he is distracted with a treat. We would not recommend Ibis to a home with children though, as he has a tendency to mistake your finger for food if it is stuck in his cage while he isn't paying attention or if it wakes him up. He is not aggressive by any means, just a little bit confused. He also loves his time free roaming in his playpen and foraging for scattered food. Overall, Ibis would be a great pet for someone with hamster keeping experience or someone willing to learn how to interact with a hamster properly.
