This is Marko. He was an owner surrender from Texas. He had a treatable skin issue but was left an overcrowded municipal shelter anyway. When he got to Colorado he was unsocialized and had no manners since he was still an untrained puppy. He is now crate and house trained, sits, and will wait until “released” to eat and knows how to ring the bell to go out. He’s about 25# now at almost 5 mos old and he is going to be a larger dog probably 60+ pounds but still loves to be on your lap if you let him. We think he looks like a Potcake dog or maybe Lab/Heeler. He is a heavy duty chewer and can demolish cheap/small toys easily. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. He likes to be vocal so he’s not a good fit for an apartment and requires a fenced yard He loves to run. He is learning how to walk on a leash although he would rather chew on it. He is neutered, vaccinated, and chipped. If you’re interested in meeting Marko the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Marko’s adoption fee is $375 and we are not doing any out of state adoptions.
