Description of the Pet
Gertrude is a lovely young lady about 1 year old. She was found at a local site that is known for dumping cats. She is a little reserved at first but as soon as she knows you love her she snuggles up to you. We don't know how she is with kids, dogs or cats. But seeing how she is on first meetings we would recommend that she be with older children that respect her space. With being a light colored she needs to be an inside only cat.

Cats are a life long commitment of 15-20 years and are not "disposable" Please give new pets coming into your home the rule of 3/3/3 for transitioning. 3 days going into your home are scary and need a quite bathroom to settle into. 3 weeks they will start getting more comfortable in your home and withing 3 months or so they will know they are in their forever home.
