Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stella may be a little in her shell when you first meet, but she is readily won over with food and soon shows you her fun side! She is a playful girl who has some energy to burn, but she'll help you out - she likes to take the leash and walk herself! This smarty is treat-motivated and would be fun to teach tricks. She shows signs of being housetrained and has been friendly with males dogs (only). Stella would do best with a solid fence, as she likes to protect her property - but only behind a fence for extra courage!

The adoption fee for dogs includes vaccinations (DA2PLP+CV, Bordatella, Rabies) spaying/neutering, heartworm check, deworming, heartworm prevention, flea preventative, and microchip.

The adoption fee for cats includes a full exam (feleck/FIV tested, FVRCP), spaying/ neutering, rabies, deworming, and flea preventative.

If you wish to adopt a pet you will need to fill out an adoption application. You can either pick one up at the shelter or email the shelter to request an application be emailed to you.

The Calhoun County Humane Society, Inc. (dba The Animal Shelter), located in Anniston, Alabama, was established in 1973 as a result of the efforts of Susan Levens Phillips.
