My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jaxon is a very loving and affectionate little Maltipoo boy who is about 8 years old, weighs approximately 10 pounds, and has the softest hair ever. This poor sweetheart was originally adopted during Covid and then dumped at the shelter (like so many others) when everyone went back to work.

Jaxon is a very social and gentle little guy who loves everyone, gets along great with other dogs and would love to have a doggie buddy. He is friendly and calm with strangers, loves going for walks, and is great in the car. He also likes to play, and sometimes squeals and gets the 'zoomies' when he's really excited (and with those long poodle legs he can really go!). Jaxon gives sweet gentle doggie kisses and loves to lay his little head on your shoulder. His favorite spot is in your lap and/or getting a belly rub.

Jaxon would do best with someone who is home most of the time as he does not like to be left alone (which is understandable after being abandoned). If he has another dog to hang out with, then he's fine.

Jaxon is neutered, microchipped, has had all his vaccines; he's also had a dental cleaning, full bloodwork and urinalysis. He's in great shape! and ready for his forever home.
