Gentle Pippa is longing for a quiet life with loyal friends. A submissive sweetheart, she likes to stay close and get plenty of loving pets and kind words. Belly rubs and sun bathing? Pippa is totally on board with that. She has a wonderful lower energy just right for house life. Given her cautious nature, she finds other dogs to be scary and prefers no others in her personal bubble. For this reason, she needs to be the only pup in her perfect home.

The adoption fee for dogs includes vaccinations (DA2PLP+CV, Bordatella, Rabies) spaying/neutering, heartworm check, deworming, heartworm prevention, flea preventative, and microchip.

The adoption fee for cats includes a full exam (feleck/FIV tested, FVRCP), spaying/ neutering, rabies, deworming, and flea preventative.

If you wish to adopt a pet you will need to fill out an adoption application. You can either pick one up at the shelter or email the shelter to request an application be emailed to you.

The Calhoun County Humane Society, Inc. (dba The Animal Shelter), located in Anniston, Alabama, was established in 1973 as a result of the efforts of Susan Levens Phillips.

Our mission is
