Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet the Dynamic Duo--Harley and Pepper!
Hands down, Harley and Pepper are the sweetest, cutest, friendliest pair of bonded bunnies you will ever meet. Seriously, EVERYONE falls in love with these two gorgeous and quietly inquisitive bunnies.
Harley (male 7.5 yrs) and Pepper (female 6 yrs) enjoy interacting with humans, and take very good care of each other, showering one another with long grooming sessions and cuddle naps. They love snuggles, head rubs and massages, and unlike most bunnies, they don't mind being gently and slowly picked up (they are older), and will sit in your lap while you caress their very soft and beautiful fur. When entering or passing by their habitat, which is the dining room in their foster home, they excitedly hop right up to you to say hello, especially Harley, the more adventurous of the two. Pepper tends to hang back a bit to let Harley take charge, but once he let's her know all is safe, she quickly ventures over to check out the scene.
Their status as "mature" bunnies means they are pretty chill, spending the majority of their day napping in the sunbeams coming through the windows, grooming one another and quietly nibbling away in their hay-packed litter boxes.
Apart from their daily dose of medicinal supplement for arthritis, which can easily be added to their food, they are extremely low-maintenance and will make a wonderfully gentle addition to a household where crunchy fresh hay, loving interaction and cuddly massages reign supreme!
We suspect they will do just fine in a family that has children and other animals, as long as they have their own dedicated bunny space.
