My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clarice is a true desert dog. She loves to splash in the water, hiking, car rides, pushing up against her favorite humans, and playing tug of war.

Clarice was in a loving family with children that couldn't keep her and you can tell they made a big mark on her. She has been in the shelter over 100 days and none of us can figure out why. She is affectionate, playful, and wiggles with excitement every time she gets a visitor. She is housebroken, resilient, patient, and easy to please. On days when she only gets one walk, she easily entertains herself, especially with Nylabones, squeakers, and rope toys. Clarice does well in the car, loves to snuggle in your lap, and is so patiently waiting her forever home.

Clarice's best friends here were puppies another rescue dog had. She was kind and patient with them, teaching them all the good manners and it paid off - they're all off to loving homes. Please help Clarice find a similar happy ending!
