Meet Abby! This beautiful 1 year old girl is looking for her furever home in ORANGE COUNTY ONLY.

Abby is a velcro pup who needs a home with people who are around most of the time. Her favorite things are to get pets and be cuddled. Being next to you is what makes her happiest.

She does have energy and would enjoy a yard to run around in! She also seems to enjoy dog friends her size (she has done well with the male cattle dog in her foster home). However, she does have a bit of a rougher play style, so any dog in her new home would need to be comfortable with that.

Abby is housebroken in her current foster home but will need a refresher course in her forever home. She would also do best in a home that is willing to continue working with her on training, and we would really like to see her go to a home that will get her into obedience classes to ensure she stays on the road to becoming her best self. She is still a young pup and has some puppy tendencies (i.e. gentle jumping, counter surfing, digging), so she needs someone who can work with her on those things. She is very food motivated, which should make training fairly easy!

Abby has displayed a bit of prey drive, so we are not recommending her to a home with cats or small animals. She'd likely do ok with older children (we'd anticipate she'd unintentionally knock smaller kids down).
