Tutu is so easygoing and low maintenance. Food, water, the tiniest bit of exercise, and a comfy place to nap on is really all she needs. She has a lower energy level. Her biggest concern is smelling all the smells. She’s got a super sniffer and loves to investigate every corner of the yard. Don’t worry though, she doesn’t need your help with that. She’s perfectly happy to investigate all by herself. She can be quite independent if need be and will happily amuse herself without much effort on your part. She’s a very calm girl. She’s easy to handle on leash for walks and keeps things very chill and relaxed. Tutu doesn’t seem to know any tricks yet…and she honestly doesn’t seem that interested in treats or toys. She’s a simple girl, with simple tastes. She does enjoy being pet, but she’s not needy about it.

We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.
The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.
We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.
