My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Ellie. As you can see, I’m a bit of a low-rider…a house hippo, if you will. I’m a spayed female, about 5 years old and weigh about 75 lbs. I LOVE my ball, it’s my favorite toy! I also get REALLY excited when my foster Mom brings me my food…I have to maintain this hippo physique, you know!

When I’m done with my ball, I’m perfectly happy to cuddle with you on the couch. I get along with some dogs, others not so much, so I’d definitely have to meet any dogs you already have. I don’t think I’ve met any cats, but I don’t think I’d be a fan. I also do well with older kids as commotion just isn’t my thing. I’m pretty set in my ways and really just like my people.

I enjoy cuddling and lounging around the house. I'm great in my crate but could also be left out as I would probably just sleep while you’re away. I do also enjoy going for walks! I love being outside as long as you’re out there with me.

If you enjoy binge watching Netflix and going for an evening walk, apply to meet me today!

More about this rescue

We started out fighting for our baby boy, Lucci, who was killed due to Airport Animal Emergi-Center Clinic's breed prejudice. When he was killed, we make a promise that no bully would be left behind. Now we try to save as many bullies as we can!
