I`m Daisy! My hobbies are snuggling with my friends, being carried like a princess, and eating tasty snacks. I came to CAC with a very sweet chiweenie named Jackson. It would be awesome if we could go to a home together! I can be a little easily intimidated so I may be too shy for hanging out with bigger dogs but we could certainly try! I`m also not sure how I feel about cats yet though I could likely live with a cat if they`re polite and willing to give me space when I`m feeling nervous. As I`m getting to be a little older, I would prefer a life of pets and pampering so I can live out the rest of my years in comfort. I don`t appear to show any signs of resource guarding. Before making the commitment to add me to your life, please ensure you have the proper time, space, and resources to care for me for my entire life.

Interview

If your Pre-Adoption Questionnaire is approved we'll call to discuss the animal's needs. If it's a match, we will schedule an appointment.

3.
Meet the Pet

If all goes well at your adoption appointment, you will finish the adoption process and take your new pet home.

Additional adoption info

Our current adoption fees are:
Dog - $100
Dog 35 lb and under - $150
Senior Dog (7 yrs and older) - $50
Puppy (5 mo and under) - $175

Cats (over 5 mo to 1 yr) - $65
Cats (over 1 yr) - $50
Senior Cat (7 yrs and older) - $25
Kitten (5 mo and under) - $85

All adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, Rabies vaccine, and microchip. We also include a free vet check from a list of local vets. For those individuals who rent, we do require landlord approval prior to adoption.

Companions Animal Center is a non-profit organization funded exclusively by donations and grants. Every day we receive numerous homeless animals. We shelter, feed, and provide medical care for these animals while searching for loving homes for them.

As a "No-Kill" shelter, animals who are in our facility do not face a "be adopted quick or else" ultimatum but rather are cared for until they can be placed.

Our Mission - is to focus all of our efforts and resources toward directly benefiting the quality of life for all abandoned or mistreated pets with the ultimate goal of finding each one a loving household in which to share their lives.
