Aretha & Gladys are a bonded pair, so we are looking to find them a home together. Their previous 'family' moved away and abandoned them along with numerous other pets. Luckily these girls broke free of their pen and survived. Animal control caught them after about a month and asked us to take them in. Gladys had an ear removed. Nobody knows what happened to it, but she's perfectly happy without it. Both girls are very sweet and loved to cuddle together.
Vet exam and hooves recently trimmed.
Adoption Fee: $350/Bonded Pair
If you do not know about these guys, they make WONDERFUL pets if you are prepared.
We have information on our homepage for your review about the care of a pot bellied pig. Feel free to ask questions. You won't believe how much fun they can be and they are so smart!
It is advised to have a secure fenced in yard to keep them safely contained. They can be indoor and/or outdoor pets, but proper arrangements/shelter must be made (dog house, nesting materials). They generally require little vet care, but you must see if you have a qualified vet in your area who truly knows how to work with them (ask them questions to be sure). Routine hoof care is a must!
Missouri pig chow is a popular quality brand, available on Chewy.com auto-ship.

We adopt out of state at the adopter's expense. Please inquire about the process if you are out of state.
We require potential adopters to fill out an adoption application. Once we receive the application back we will check references (to be included in the application), a home visit will then be set up to see if the animal fits the family and the family fits the animal.
If the potential adopter is approved and all vet care has been finished on the pet, a non-refundable adoption fee is due via check, cash, Zelle or Paypal.
We will check back on you and your new pet in a few days, 1 month and at 3 months (if there is a need, to make sure the adjustment period is a success). Should the adoption not work out, we will always take the animal back as quick as we can. It is required they are ONLY returned to us. Our screening process is geared to hopefully avoid unecessary returns. Please keep this in mind when adopting - it is intended to be a LONG TERM COMMITMENT.
Please ask the foster parent what the adoption fee is as some vary.
All animals come with the following (what the fee includes):
Exam, vaccines, dewormings, microchip, heartworm test (dogs) or FELV/FIV test (cats/kittens), and spay or neuter.

WHY RESCUE?
I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter…the cast-offs of human society.
I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness and betrayal.
And I was angry.
“God,” I said, “this is terrible! Why don’t you do something?”
God was silent for a moment, and then He spoke softly.
“I have done something," He replied. “I created you.”
