Through another organization, Natasha and her sister landed gigs as barn cats where they mostly resided outside and took care of any rodent problems. When coyotes started coming around, the area was no longer safe for them. After losing her sis, Natasha knew it was time to say goodbye to her life as a professional mouser, and she joined The Rescue House in search of an indoor-only forever home! Soon it became clear that she missed her sister, and her foster parents got her a kitten named Patches to take care of. The two bonded and became the very best of friends. All ready for adoption, they are looking for a home where they can live out the rest of their days together surrounded by love.
The purrfect pair, Natasha was gentle with Patches when she was very small, and now that Patches is a teenager, they can chase and wrestle each other to their hearts' content. Patches and Natasha often race full speed around the house, one in hot pursuit of the other-switching off between chaser and one being chased. They like to snuggle together and with you. Both will curl up on the couch with you and love to sleep on the bed with you at night! ---Sweet and gentle, Natasha longs to give her heart to you! During her previous career in the outdoor world, loud noises and sudden movements usually signified danger, so understandably, she can be timid when you first meet. Your patience and reassurance will help her realize that she is secure and can open up to you. Once she does, you can expect passionate meows for love! This cutie is very vocal and won't hold back when she wants your attention. ---On the other hand, Patches is your typical adolescent-full of energy, playfulness. and confidence. It doesn't take her long to adapt to new environments. Patches still is a bit of a troublemaker and food hog-she wants to eat everything in sight-so she still has some growing up to do! She adores chasing balls and any type of toy that mimics prey. ***Natasha and Patches MUST be adopted together.
Natasha and Patches probably would not mind another laidback kitty playmate. As Natasha tends to be submissive, a domineering or food-aggressive feline would not be a good match for her. We don't know how they feel about dogs or children. Based on their personalities, they might be okay with calm canines and kiddos.
Since her early retirement from barn cat duties, Natasha is living it up with Patches as her trusty sidekick! Will you be the one to continue to give them the cushy lifestyle of boundless affection and playtime they crave?
