Meet Maggie! Maggie is a 3-year-old female American Bulldog mix who weighs around 40 pounds. Maggie is a quiet, friendly, adaptable, and happy gal who seems to think she's a lap dog. She can be a bit slow to warm up but when she does, she's a real sweetie. She's house- and crate-trained! In fact, she really loves her crate. At night she likes to sleep on a dog bed in her foster's dad's bedroom. Maggie loves car rides and long walks but will need some leash practice to help her learn to take it a little easy. She enjoys playing with other dogs but she's very respectful of her foster brother's doggy space. Her foster dad thinks she'll do well in most environments, though she hasn't yet met any kids, cats, or dogs (other than her foster brother). She also really likes playing with toys and having something to chew.
Maggie's foster dad calls her "beyond perfect" and "sweet and calm" and says she's never once had an accident and is respectful.
Her minimum adoption fee is $195 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
