My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlotte is a sweet, gentle lady looking for her new home. She is house trained, enjoys short to medium neighborhood walks, car rides, and cuddling with you. She loves to be nearby her people and will give you gentle kisses when you pet her. She knows sit, down, and wait and has started to learn “shake”, too. Charlotte`s favorite things are belly rubs, playing ball, going for car rides, and going for walks. Be aware that she loves to deconstruct her stuffed toys, so keep stuffed animals out of her reach unless you want a stuffing surprise! She walks nicely on leash, very little pulling. Charlotte spent a weekend with two of our foster volunteers and they learned that she is a low to medium energy dog with polite indoor manners. They shared, `When you are in the kitchen, she is nearby - but not underfoot. When you are on the sofa, she will be by your side. If you are snacking on the sofa, a gentle `no` will keep her from sneaking a bite off your plate. She is a happy dog who will sleep curled up in bed with you.` They created a video so you can learn more about her, so be sure to click on the video link or scan the QR code on her habitat at Placer SPCA. Charlotte can be fearful in new spaces, so we are recommending that any children in her new home are age 10 or older so they can understand her needs. She prefers to be the only dog in the household so we are requiring that there are no other dogs in her new home. She may not visit dog parks.
