Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Chevy! Chevy was picked up as a stray in southern Colorado, and after his stray hold was up the shelter contacted us to help. Chevy came in pretty beat up – he had several fly strikes on his muzzle and ears when he was found and was also very underweight. Upon arriving at the shelter, he vomited up several plastic bags, a clear sign he had been surviving on garbage for quite some time.
Chevy was adopted and became Asher, unfortunately his adopters had some health issues that meant they could no longer take care of him so he came back to us!
His favorite game is race car laps in a yard, so his next home will require a fenced yard. He attaches quickly to his people and wants to protect them, so a family who can help him learn that he doesn’t need to is a must. He also adores cats, so a home with a dog friendly kitty would be an added bonus! He is a champion snuggler who is perfectly happy to hang out with you (on or off the couch) while you binge the latest show. He will help you keep your counters clean of all things edible and check the trash for any wrappers that might have a tidbit on them, so a its important to be mindful of these things. he hasn’t lived with kids but has gotten along with kids that he met out and about.
