My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m Meowser, and for two years, I’ve been waiting quietly, hoping that someone will see the gentle soul hiding behind my timid eyes.

I arrived at the shelter in December 2022 after being rescued from a cruel situation. Life hasn’t been easy, and I’ve struggled to find my place in this busy world. I’m not the kind of cat who opens up right away — my spirit has been hurt, and it has taken me time to feel safe again. But little by little, I’ve begun to trust, and with every day, my tender heart is peeking through.

I dream of a quiet, loving home where I can finally feel peace and at ease. With a family who’s patient, understanding, and kind, I know I’ll blossom into the terrific companion I was always meant to be.

Could that family be yours? If you think you are the hero I’ve been waiting for, please reach out to the shelter. You can apply to adopt me via email, or come visit the SPCA any day between 12 and 4 pm. I’m ready to begin a new delightful chapter, and I hope it will be with you.

*Meowser gets great comfort from being around other cats and would love to live with a friendly feline. Meowser would be best suited for a home with adults and older children.
