Hello! My name is Belinda, and I’m a sweet 5 year old girl ready for my forever home!
I’m currently living my best life as an only dog with my foster mom in her apartment. I’ve been such a good girl and don’t bark at any noises or when in my crate. That’s right, I’m crate trained! Oh, and potty trained too! You’d really be impressed at all my house manners. I love meal time and of course the occasional treat. I’ll be so excited to greet you when you come home and eager to go outside. When I get excited, I tend to pull the leash, but overall my foster mom says I’m a good walker. I was nervous at first to go on walks away from home, but I’m becoming more confident and adventurous these days. I usually don’t mind passing my dog neighbors, but occasionally can feel overwhelmed by them. I love all human neighbors I pass though! Then when we get back inside, I’ll go straight for my toys to show them some love.
Wanna know my absolute favorite thing though? YOU! I love being queen of the couch or taking a snooze, but I’m my happiest if you’re right there by my side. I’ll shower you with all of my love and even let you laugh at my nasally breathing if it means you are near.
Although I’m doing great in a single household apartment, I’d be happy in a multi-person home too! I’d prefer a home with older kids and would do best with slow introductions to other dogs!
If you’ll let me, I’ll show you my adorable personality and shower you with all the cuddles and affection in the world!
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
