My story

Dax is a gorgeous German Short-Haired Pointer mix. Though he sure doesn’t look like a mix! He is stunning! And so well-behaved! Dax is house and crate-trained, and just the best boy!

Dax is good with kids and other dogs, he’s just nervous around men. He would be an amazing best friend, running partner, and loyal protector for a woman, or a man willing to work with him! He behaves so well for us, and does seem to be adapting to men quickly.

Dax is heartworm positive but PLEASE don’t stop reading there - we are already treating him, and with regular monthly heartworm medicine he will be clear soon!

Dax would love to have a best friend of his own. He loves car rides and walks, fetch and hiking, whatever you like, Dax is down! Apply for Dax now - this beautiful boy will get adopted fast!

PPRI is a non profit rescue and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Precious Paws INC and our website PreciouspawsrescueAL.com. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and Delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100 dollar deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee is due at the time of pick up. Naturally the 100 dollars comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left with the animal.
