My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dale is a handsome Pittie mix! He is a great dog, very affectionate and funny! He loves kids and other dogs, and does fine with cats!

Dale was rescued at the very last second from a high kill shelter! He’s around 4-5 years old, crate and house-trained, and just the best boy! He sure didn’t deserve to end up near starved on death row at a high kill shelter! And we think he was chained or penned before that! But now he loves being inside and hanging out on the couch or in the sun in the backyard!

Dale is heartworm positive but PLEASE don’t stop reading there - we are already treating him, and with regular monthly heartworm prevention medication, he will be clear before too long!

Dale is just a big goofball looking for a friend to hang out with watch football or throw the ball! Whatever is going on, Dale is down!

PPRI is a non profit rescue and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Precious Paws INC and our website PreciouspawsrescueAL.com. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and Delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100 dollar deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee is due at the time of pick up. Naturally the 100 dollars comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left with the animal.
