Meet Potato is a male, 2 year old, Black mouth Cur mix. He is 47 pounds.
Potato, a charming canine resident of our shelter. He may seem a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you, his sweet nature shines through. Potato loves quiet afternoons, a good game of fetch, and the occasional belly rub. He`s a quick learner and is always eager to please. Despite his initial shyness, Potato has a heart full of love to give. His gentle spirit makes him a wonderful companion, perfect for someone who appreciates the quiet moments in life. Adopting Potato means gaining a loyal friend who will cherish every moment spent with you.
Potato will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We don’t know how he will do with cats.
Potato is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go home today!
