Lady was surrendered to our rescue after her aging parents went into assisted living. She is about 12 years old and extremely obese. She weighed 45 pounds at her last vet visit and needs to shed at least 10 pounds to start. It is extremely important for Lady's health that she has a restricted calorie intake and gets daily exercise. She loves going on walks!

Lady is a sweetheart. She has been great with kids and doesn't mind visitors. She loves to be petted and get belly rubs. She doesn't get along with smaller dogs and would do best as the only dog.

She loves going on walks and spending time outside in the yard. Considering her weight, she gets around well and does well on steps when necessary. She would be a lovely and loving addition to any home.

She is located in St. Louis, and is fully vetted, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $75.
