Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, my name is Star. I am a young husky, a little over 3 years old. I came into rescue because my family is moving and couldn’t take me with them. I was sad and confused at first, but a really nice fellow allowed me to move in with him and his other dog.
We go on daily runs together, which I love to do! I don’t pull on-leash too hard, in fact my foster dad says I am a good runner! I am living with another female malamute, and we get along great. I like my crate, and of course I like to hang out and watch TV with my foster dad. He brags on me and says I am a good ‘first husky’ for anyone so inclined.
It is unknown how I would be with cats, but chances are that is not a good idea. I have a tendency to see ducks, squirrels and want to ‘investigate’ so I do have some prey drive.
I am hopeful my forever family will ask to meet me soon.
