MARCH 2023: Miss Dolly has adjusted to living with her foster dad after recently losing the only mom she has ever known; in spite of her advanced years, Dolly is an excellent health, loves to go on energetics walks and is in excellent health, having received regular comprehensive vet care of her entire life; due to her age, cataracts have formed, and her right tear duct has partially escaped its pouch below her lower eyelid-a condition commonly called “cherry eye” which (at her age) doesn’t need to be poked back down & secured with a single stitch) as it isn’t causing any pain or discomfort. As Dolly’s vision is not as sharp as it could be, she would do best in a single story home with no staircases & cautious or slow moving, experienced adults; supervised visits with older children who know how to control their movements and voice levels would be fine as Dolly is very friendly and quick to warm up to people she trusts—and eho have healthy treats in hand!
