Bean is a high-energy, playful, snuggly, and brave little guy. He warms up quickly to new people and always wants to be around his people. He purrs anytime he`s around people or even when you`re playing with him. He loves to be held, cuddled up in your arms, and will sleep (almost) all night in between your legs or laying his head on your pillow. He would love another cat in the house or a person with time to play with him a few times a day. Bean is definitely not picky about toys and especially loves springs, wand toys, and lasers. He will sometimes even play fetch and bring his favorite spring or mouse toy back to you. He also loves anything he can run and jump into, like a box filled with paper or a tube.
He is also learning not to play bite and has improved a lot: redirection to a toy or not moving your hand and making a little yelp work really well for him. He loves to walk on a leash outside and will easily let you put his collar or harness on him. If you want to trim his nails, he is really calm about you doing it while he sleeps or relaxes. Bean is also so smart and learns quickly. He knows how to sit on command and will come when you call his name.
Bean will initially hiss at other cats but only out of fear since he has never been really aggressive toward them. He warms up pretty quickly with a proper introduction and wants to play with new cats. He is a rough player, so he would do best with a younger cat who also has a lot of energy and likes to rough play. He also quickly warms up to dogs as long as they give him some space to approach at his own pace, so I would recommend a slow introduction. He has met a few children and always reacted very well to them and let them pet him.
He is not a picky eater and loves anything from kibble to fresh chicken to freeze-dried fish. He has a sensitive stomach with some wet food brands but loves them,
