My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“You ain’t nothing but a hound dog!” Check out these two haute hounds! Buster and Birdie are two bashful Bassets hailing from none other than San Antonio Animal Care Services. While these sweetie pies both share a docile temperament, we are not sure if they are related. It’s thought that they may have been housemates at some point, but their past is a complete mystery. If only dogs could talk! Birdie is estimated to be ten years old while Buster is about seven. If you’ve got a heart for the seniors, either one of these long-eared pups could make an easy addition to your home. These two are potty-trained, leash trained and incredibly well-behaved. They enjoy settling down for long snoozes in their kennels when they aren’t getting love from their humans. With their easygoing personalities, we anticipate them to have great manners around kids and other animals, too. Not to mention, we haven’t heard these stunners “bay” yet, so you may be the lucky person to help them rebuild some confidence! So, if you’ve caught a scent and want to follow it, apply to meet one of these goofy doggos today!
