My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stella is a medium-sized mixed breed rescue dog with one quirky trait: her tongue always sticks out of her mouth! She has no idea why this happened, but she, and we, accepts it as part of who she is. Even when sleeping, walking around or playing, Stella's tongue can be seen hanging out from the side of her mouth.

Sometimes dirt gets lodged between Stella's teeth and she has to spit it out with much enthusiasm as if "dying" in order to rid herself of the nuisance. Despite being skittish around new people, Stella loves other dogs and wants nothing more than to find a forever home where she can feel safe and secure.

Upon receipt of your application, the rescuer and foster in AL will contact you so you can ask any specific questions you may have! If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement!

Adoption Donation: Unless otherwise stated in the pet's bio, our standard adoption fee is $250 which covers age appropriate vaccines (DHPP vax) and (Rabies vax if 12 weeks and older), utd on flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention, worming, heartworm test @ age 6 months or older, microchip, fostering costs and health certificate.
