Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Looking for a playful, adorable, goofy pup? Miley may be the one! Miley is about 3 years old and is very sweet and affectionate towards her foster parents. She is a very happy girl and just wants to be next to you. She is extra cuddly when she is tired.
She is crate-trained and sees her crate as a safe space to relax and eat her meals. Miley is a high-energy GSD, so long walks on those beautiful weather days and plenty of outside time to play is essential. She does well with other dogs and is great with her foster sister. She would thrive in an active home with another playful dog.
True to her breed, she gets very excited when she sees other dogs on walks. She will need continued work on the leash to improve her reactivity. Patience, consistency and the right tools will help her improve. Her forever home should have GSD experience and be fully committed to training her. All young dogs require daily physical and mental exercise, especially shepherds.
Miley is curious of the cat room in her foster home, but has not had any direct contact with them yet. She still acts like a puppy, so she can be a little jumpy at times. Due to her energy and size we recommend no small children in the home.
We hope you are interested in meeting Miley soon! She is a ball of excitement and happiness and will definitely bring some extra cheer into your life.
Miley is up-to-date on all vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. She is currently in a foster home in Newberg, OR. If you are interested in meeting Miley, please complete an Adoption Application and we will get back to you soon.
