My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweetheart is Lucy - a 3 year old Standard Poodle who weighs about 32 pounds.  Her foster dad thinks she'll do well in most environments, though she'd love a canine companion to play with.  Lucy is pretty much house trained, she's only had accidents when her foster dad was learning her signals.  She's also crate trained, though she isn't a fan of going in it.  Once she's in the crate, she sleeps through the night and she's fine when her foster dad is gone.  Lucy makes sure to let you know when it's time to wake up and get her out of the crate in the morning.

Lucy is pretty easy going - she likes to be near her person and loves to snuggle in your lap!  She enjoys car rides, playing with toys, and a good game of fetch.  Her foster dad believes she's had some obedience training.  She loves to greet people and she's still working on keeping all four paws on the ground.

If you'd like to adopt Lucy, apply today!  Her minimum adoption fee is $295 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
