My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harry was an owner surrender in a New Mexico shelter and we are at a loss as to why...he is a sweet loving puppy. Harry is almost 7 months old and 30 lbs. The shelter environment scared him so he was very timid. In his foster home he has blossomed and is a playful loving puppy that will make someone a wonderful family pet. We don't know his breeds but we believe him to be a lab mixed with possibly Border Collie. He is a joyful playful puppy and wants to be friends with dogs that he meets. He is in a foster home with 3 dogs of his own size and we believe that placing him in a home with another confident puppy-tolerant dog would be best for him. He is currently in a home with a yard and we will give preference to a home where he could get out and stretch his legs.....an apartment would only work for him with someone who is home and can get him out frequently and not have him spend all day in a crate inside. He has not had any accidents in his foster home but will need monitoring and a schedule in his new home. He sleeps through the night in his crate but if he needs to go out he will wake you up to let you know that he needs to potty. His foster recommends that adopter continues his crate training until he is out of the puppy chewing stage. He has been known to steal slippers and shoes and just needs redirection to a toy. We recommend a home with older respectful children 10+; he gets excited and is still in the puppy mouthing stage and that would be not be appropriate for a family with younger kids. He has not been tested with cats so we don't know how he would be with a cat. He walks well on the leash and loves going for a walk, although it is still very new to him. He did not seem to be used to a car so his foster home is working on getting him used to the car....he is not car sick and now sits up and looks out the windows to see where he is going. He would make a great adventure dog for a family who likes to go on family outings. If you are interested in meeting Harry you can complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms as the first step. We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Harry is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $375 and we are not doing any out of state adoptions.
