AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - JULIE
BREED - Cocker Spaniel
SIZE - About 35 pounds, overweight
AGE - 6 years
GENDER - Female
MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known
BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Julie is a super sweet gal who loves people! She came to us from a local shelter partner after being found as a stray. We believe that she is 5-6 years of age, and in good health other than being quite overweight. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date with vaccines. Julie is nice with other dogs and would make a great addition to most homes. A home with small children will not be considered. We are seeking a family able to have adult companionship at home during most of the day, and with a private, fenced yard for extra security. Julie needs an owner committed to feeding and exercising her appropriately, and familiarity with the breed is a plus. She will make an excellent companion and is quite a couch potato!
Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of the dog and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and the dog at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting the dog and determining that it matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner. More information on our website at www.carerva.com.
