Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Currently fostered in Willis Texas**
If you're in the market for a perfect furry companion, then look no further. Chief could be your guy! This happy hound found himself alone after his previous owner abandoned him when they moved.
Chief is a big lug of a dog, and what we call the derpy gentleman. He's 65 lbs, and believed to be a Labrador/German shepherd mix. Chief is around 7 years old and in the prime of his life. This dog has never met a stranger, and is friendly to every single person he meets. His feelings get terribly hurt if he doesn't get someone's immediate love and attention. He is also extremely gentle and it would never even cross his mind to be rough in any way, even getting a treat! So he would make the perfect family pet for any child!
His friendly demeanor extends to all animals as well, and he is a friendly, happy hour lucky social butterfly with other dogs. He is also very respectful to his feline breatheren, so any cats in the home work out for him! If they want a cuddle dog, he enjoys that. But if they'd prefer he just left them alone, he will gladly give them their space. He's a very respectful dog to all living creatures!
Chief is trained well, and is learning new things daily. He is already leash trained, crate trained, and is mostly housebroken. (I wouldn't leave a sandwich unattended lol) he also knows some basics such as sit, settle, down and stay. He is am eager to please pooch, so any training will not only be easy, it'll be fun too!
Chief is fully vetted meaning he is neutered, vaccinated, on monthly prevention and microchipped. He is heartworm positive but, is already in the middle of treatment and doing splendid. No concerns medically at all!
