Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rick is two year old male, black tri Australian Shepherd weighing around 50lbs.
Rick is a very sweet boy who wants to be with his people. He gets along with other dogs and likes to play out in the yard and is learning to like fetch. He is a very smart boy who is food and attention- motivated so someone familiar with the breed and the time to train with Rick is ideal.
Rick is an escape artist from a crate if he sees an opportunity and he can jump over a 4 foot fence if he sees people he wants to get attention from. So a fenced yard of his own at a minimum of 6 foot is required.
Since Rick gets really excited to get attention from people he sees, we feel like kids older than 7 would be best.
Rick came into rescue heartworm positive but has completed his treatment. He is up to date on his vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and on heartworm, flea/tick prevention. He is house trained too.
