**Barn or Companion Cat**
Catrina, born approximately June 2020 is a shy elegant young lady who is spayed, current on vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and microchipped. Catrina got her name because the markings on her face resemble Catrina, a central female figure in the Mexican Dio de Los Muertos celebration. Catrina, or Trina for short, was found by herself, starving in a feral colony when she was about 3 months old. The colony caretaker captured her and she came into our rescue. Trina, while cautious and very skittish initially, did not exhibit any of the behaviors common in true feral cats, so it is suspected she was dumped at the colony. Trina enjoys pets, the occasional back scritches, and kitty treats, and catnip toys. She does not care for being held and is not a cuddler or lap cat. She is an independent spirit and very low maintenance. Trina has a tiny kitten like meow That she uses occasionally to ask for treats. She remains very shy and skittish and prefers the company of other cats to humans. She will spend time with them grooming and being groomed. Trina is very tidy in her habits- always using the litter box, and always keeps herself well groomed, with her fur very clean Her adoption fee is $25
